Ash Tough

Ash Tough was born in Brisbane and spent most of her childhood on the Gold Coast, where her lifelong love of reading—and especially fantasy—first took root. Rarely seen without a book in hand, she later studied Law, International Relations, and Japanese at Griffith University. During this time, Ash seized the opportunity to live and study in Europe, where the landscapes, history, and architecture sparked the inspiration for Holly & Oak: Season One, her debut novel.

After several years living and working in Brisbane, Ash has recently returned to the Gold Coast, where she continues to write, read, and dream up new adventures.
